Welcome to a new episode of… art journal tv!
Hello dear art lovers and friends,
How are you? What are you doing? I am curious what you are creating!
It’s been a while since I wrote a blog. Finally here is a message from me again.
I’m doing fine, actually. Ups and downs of course, but that probably counts for all of is. In general life has been good for me these past months. After my burnout last year (which lasted almost a year!) I have been trying to focus on balancing in this past six months. I still find that difficult, because there are only few productive hours in a day.
It take me two or sometimes even three days to create such a BloknoteTV video. But I feel I have so muc to share with you about my great passion: art journaling. I can talk about that for hours.
That’s why I’ve created a new youtube format (new for me, that is), where I just put on the camera and tell something about a topic related to art journaling. And I call it… Art Journal TV! Of course I do a little bit of editing, once a perfectionist, always a perfectionist. One episode will be about a technique, another about art supplies, next time maybe something personal that I ran into. It could be about anything, as long as it is related to art journaling.
It’s still a little awkward for me to talk directly to the camera while I’m doing something, as I am used to working with a voice-over. So forgive me if I’m still a bit too wordy. I always try to keep my videos as short as possible. That’s my philosophy in all my video’s and e-courses. I myself want to spend my time as useful as possible. And I assume this counts for you too. The longer art tutorials take, the less time you have to really do something. I hope you like watching my videos. But promise me to leave YouTube afterward watching it and go straight to your art desk, okay?
Have fun with the first two episodes of Art Journal TV. Happy art journaling!
P.s. I have already filmed the next two episodes too. They are about Inktober and I’ll show you how to make my Jotter Journal. They will be published this next Tuesday. Keep an eye on my blog and YouTube channel! With love,
